Sophie Sowman
Managing Director/Business Development Manager
Sophie started her first business while studying at Otago University, sourcing and supplying Christmas puddings to local businesses. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management, she travelled and worked in Australia and the United Kingdom, gaining experience in advertising, marketing, sales and business support. By the time she returned to NZ, Sophie had a vision to provide a unique business support service, though lead generation, customer service, market research and database generation and management. In July 2010 99 Corporation merged with MEP Services, with Sophie taking over the role of Managing Director of the new company. She continues to build and expand the business and its range of services.
Tracy Pope
Executive Support
Tracy
graduated from Massey University with a Bachelor of Business studies with
Honors in Marketing. After leaving University she worked for EziBuy
before heading off on her OE. She lived
in London for 6 years where she gained experience in online and direct
marketing while working as Online Marketing Manager for Charles Tyrwhitt and
Head of Web and Mail Order for Cath Kidston.
On leaving the UK she travelled for 6 months before living in Canada for
a year. Here she worked as a project manager
on research projects in various hospitals in BC before heading home to NZ in
2010.
